| Description: | Regula is a remote planetoid in the Mutara sector within Federation space, a Class D body according to the planetary classification. Regula is orbited by the research outpost Regula I. According to Captain Spock of the USS Enterprise, Regula is "essentially a great rock in space". It was later revealed that the research team developing the Genesis Device, led by Doctors Carol and David Marcus, had constructed a giant cave inside the planetoid, filled with various plantlife and water. According to Carol Marcus, it had taken the Starfleet Corps of Engineers ten months to dig out the underground structure, while the matrix used to terraform the cave only needed a day to take shape. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan) The Mutara Nebula is an interstellar dust cloud located in the Mutara sector. The nebula contains high levels of static discharge and comprises largely of ionized gases. The combined effect of this makes a starship's sensors highly unreliable and shields inoperable when inside. In 2285, it was the site of the horrific Battle of the Mutara Nebula. The battle ended when Khan Noonien Singh detonated the experimental Genesis Device inside the nebula, causing matter within it to re-form into the Genesis Planet. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan) |

Excellent addon, but I found one notable error concerning the battle in the mutara nebula. It's the wrong Enterprise! Kirk fought Khan commanding the NCC-1701 - not the 1701 A. You might want to correct the hull markings in your next update.

This is a great addon - gives you a real good feeling about the movie Star Trek II - Wrath of Khan. Suggestion for further update ... that Klingon BOP which destroyed the USS Grissom.
