Saturn: Moons:
|
Summary: | The grayscale surface of Rhea as seen from Cassini/Voyager missions, including colorizing textures. |
Description: | Alternate surface map of Saturn's moon Rhea (available by right click), originating from Cassini Solstice Mission, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology. This map was created using primarily Cassini images. Six Voyager images fill gaps in Cassini's coverage of the north pole. The package contains three types of textures: - 8k grayscale (B&W) texture of moon's surface taken during misions. - 2k original surface color map. - Overlay texture adding colors to grayscale texture. It is far from exact match, more like "artist's concept". Colorizing texture was made form original mission color map. |
