Summary: | SPICE ssc files for the 8 planets. |
Description: | Since there is about 2.2 gig of spice kernels that need to be downloaded you should read the readme file carefully. Windows user should use WordPad to view the readme files. Note: The SSC files use the SPICE "rotation model" for planets and major moons, so a very recent version of Celestia is required! |

sat341.bsp is no longer up to date.
All 3 outdated files are available at NAIF under "older versions".

For your information, NASA updated the ephemeris file for Saturn objects on 09-MAR-2012.
It was requested to download files sat342.bsp and sat342-rocks.bsp, which are now replaced by files sat353.bsp and sat353-rocks.bsp.
Here are two solutions to correct this issue:
1. Once downloaded, rename sat353* to sat342*
-or-
2. Updated JohnVV's SSC file "SaturnSpice.ssc" to replace all occurences of sat342 by sat353.
As of today (08-MAY-2012), I have not noticed any other required change.
