| Description: | This add-on can be used to locate and mark selected Messier Objects. For those who do not know, Messier objects are a set of astronomical objects cataloged by the French astronomer Charles Messier in his catalog of Nebulae and Star Clusters first published in 1774. The original motivation behind the catalog was because Messier was a comet hunter, and was frustrated by objects which resembled, but were not, actual comets.
