The format of the files is JPG because DDS introduces ugly artifacts when used for Normal Maps, and PNG's are much larger. Please note that there are no installation instructions included with this add-on, so you may wish to view our HELP page for more information. There is also a small DDS texture included in this package for grey areas. |

This file doesn't come with install instructions.
To install follow the next steps:
1. extract the folder "earth-clouds-hs-32k" to your hires folder.
2. extarct the file "earth-clouds-hs-32k.ctx" to hires folder.
3. Open solarsys.ssc file with a text editor (Notepad, Evernote, gedit, etc.)
and add the line: NormalMap "earth-clouds-hs-32k.ctx".
Example:

It would have been a lot better if you had a better readme... the HELP page helped to a degree but there were still some things I had no clue where to put..
