| Description: | This model represents the TERRIERS satellite which was launched from a Pegasus rocket, and which was carried aloft by an L-1011 Stargazer aircraft on 18th May 1999. Despite the mission officially ending in January of 2000, TERRIERS is still orbiting the Earth in a 97.5 degree inclined polar orbit. The spacecraft can still be viewed with this add-on. TERRIERS is an acronym for the "Tomographic Experiment using Radiative Recombinative Ionospheric EUV and Radio Sources." |
