| Description: | This add-on provides a 3DS model of Venus in order to exaggerate its elevation data. The relatively smooth, hot planet shows some prominences. The zip file contains two textures; a uniform rusty color and a detailed Venusian surface texture. This model was created from sinusoidal projection data extracted from the topographical files obtained by the NASA Magellan spacecraft. The data points occur at every 1 degree of longitude and latitude. The surface is composed of 129,000 triangles in a 3D mesh. The elevation data was found HERE.
